Recreation Boulder

Post by Bignuggs on Sun 27 May 2012, 5:27 pm

This was a top place to get a big breakfast at 6am. Why 6am ? it used to open for the nightshift boys. Not sure if it still does.
You could get a huge brekky and an eye full of skimpies for $5 (beer was extra). Bacon, eggs, fried tomato, baked beans, spaghetti, sausages, toast all on the same huge plate. There was no way you could finish the lot. And looking at some photo's, the outside hasn't changed much in a 100 years. No horse and carts naturally but at least my old tojo isn't parked out the front. Razz

Spot the difference between the photos--

Notice the left hand balcony has been demolished.
