What acid was that Jase, must be pretty mild stuff.
I use a 50/50 mix of Alibrite and hydrochloric and it does the job real good in no time

try my 50/50 mix Jase, the hydrochloric seems to be more active on that black ironstone than Alibrite alone, get it from bunnings cheap as.

will do at a later date. going back to airlie tomorrow. alibrite works, but takes time. i was impressed how much it took off in 24 hours to tell u the truth. needs to soak for a week.

Nice nug Jase, im finding alibrite is not quite strong enough and might have to invest in some hydrochloric next time in Kal, thanks Pete for the tip, cheers Stu
