No Puncture kit needed for this baby!
(why ride a quad when you could get around and find new ground on one of these)

I was given access to a quad this season at one place which was tops as the veh didn't get the usual damage, went all over the leases never got a puncture with 6 LB psi in the tyres and at times 4 lb over those real spiky bushes - surprised me.

The worst stakn eggs I got on my quad was driving through burnt country after a fire , the roasted mineritchie stumps were 30 mm long stakes & couldn't see them & had heat treated pointy tips . I ran out of plugs & ended up cutting strips of the double plugger thongs & jamming them into the holes with with glue , worked a treat but had to re tyre the whole 4 after that trip , a Pilbara crappy run it was .

Hi Albo, you are on the money with burnt areas - can't see much til its too late, and that red mulga (mineritchie) is like police tyre spikes. love the Idea of using thongs to do the repairs.

sorry to hear that it cost you 4 tyres mate. How many PSI are you running?

Keep well PeterD

Dunno if they still use them but forklifts used to have solid rubber tyres. Ya certainly wouldn't float a bike with a set on. Real gut busting heavy little festers they were.

not the quad tyres again.............I line the inners / good punctured quad tyres with 10mm rubber strip, from clark rubber and stick em with liquid nails, and then tube them. I seem to get more life outa them this way...
