shower hose for troopy

Post by Guest on Thu 02 Oct 2014, 6:29 pm

thought I'd buy this piece of gear and punch a hole through the side of my troopy up near the drivers door and mount it in the panel.

mainly want it for fresh water when camped up.

4 weeks on and still waiting for me 12v pressure pump--held up by Sydney floods yep and I brought it 4 days befor--
now it has been delivered back to them as broken--the bloody thing must have jumped ship in the floods coz it never made it across the border.

and that goes for the generator--I reckon someone has borrowed it to power there place when the power got knocked out in Sydney--rocklobster might have been the culprit..

I can get stuff out of the USA faster..and no wonder Aussie post are goin bad.

yes Ray it is an absolute joke the state of shipping here in Australia from the pricing to the length of time, it was bad enough when I was in NSW but geez ive quickly learnt not to rely on getting something quick via standard post over here, unfortunately the alternative express post cost's is just way to prohibitive to even entertain.

I have a portable 12 volt shower like the ones you can buy at BCF, Supercheap etc. Just simply heat up some water in a 20 litre drum, drop in the pump and you’re away. The beauty of these units is that they can be used anywhere around the vehicle when you want to get out of the wind or just for a little privacy. They are cheap enough so that when it break down, just throw it away and replace it. By the way, the bottom section of a plastic bread crate make an excellent shower mat.

geez Col
I would have thought the plastic crate would be too hard on yah feet

I have soft feet u no.

I usually take those mats in Kmart--about 2' square--with holes in them.
