cue trip

Post by martinjsto on Tue 21 Apr 2015, 4:25 pm

hi everyone, got back from cue after a great trip with Phil (cruiser1) John (john F) and his mate Graham. a great bunch of fellas to spend a week with and all put in the time to get some gold. we only got around 4g for the 9 days, 4 coils on the ground for around 8 hrs p/d but thats how it goes sometimes. its very green out there and looks like its going to be a very wet season. everyone be careful out there and expect to get rained in. once it starts you could get stuck for a week or more so be well prepared. the roads are open around Cue but only just and some are still closed. news from the caravan park is that 3 people have already been bogged and fined $5000 by the shire.

Just to re-itterate what Martin has said and also the road works on the Gt Northern Hwy past New Norcia which is still on going.I reckon the troopy got more dirt on it just from driving through this than on the off road tracks.Cue caravan park was just about deserted and not too many campers on the roads. If taking animals away also be wary of there where abouts as we came across a lost dog out Tuckanarra way.
Here is a few pics of the trip.
