Capture vid clips from Youtube

Post by Bignuggs on Sat 02 May 2015, 6:08 pm

If you have ever felt the need to capture the clip without downloading software, here's an easy way.
In the URL bar, type "ss" between the dot after "www"  and the word "youtube"

Then just hit your enter key.  when you get to this next screen, just click on the download.

If your computer is set to download into your "download" folder, that's where you will find the vid clip.

I recently just used keepvid.com. You don't have to download any software. Just paste the youtube url in the window. Heck here's their description. Just don't click on the big download buttons!! You don't need to download any software.

"KeepVid Video Downloader is a free web application that allows you to download videos from sites like YouTube, Facebook, Twitch.Tv, Vimeo, Dailymotion and many more. All you need is the URL of the page that has the video you want to download. Enter it in the textbox above and simply click 'Download'. KeepVid will then fetch download links in all possible formats that the particular site provides."
