Bloody westnet has been down since Sunday arvo
been accessing the forum by phone and its a pain in the ar*e.
I wonder how a reasonably large internet supplier can be down for 2 days.
time for a change as I've not been happy with there service for some time now.

I know how ya feel when it shuts down. tried one of the other providers for a while and it was total rubbish.
It might be cheaper but that's all.
Went back to Telstra and Bigpond. It cost more but at least I've got my connections but even then the bastards drop out.
They cannot supply a decent service but they want their money.

I'm still down, when I ring the service mob they have a message on the phone saying some adsl users are suffering incorrect log in or password issues.
that's exactly the issue I've got when trying to access websites emails etc.
might be a area thing don't know but giving me the sh#ts.

I've always wondered who "westnet" are.
seems a lot of our WA country cousins rely on it.
The question is, How good is it ?

Cliff,
Westnet was founded in the West Australian city of Geraldton in 1994 by Chris Thomas, Westnet began in a spare bedroom. In 1996 it was purchased by local company Mitchell & Brown Communications and experienced rapid growth over the years as a local Internet Service Provider to the Geraldton region.
Has since joined Iinet.
