Brilliant job, that has earned enough browny points for the year.
quick question, did you solder with soldering iron the pins on or use a small gas torch and gold solder to join them?
we have been wondering the best way to do something similar but to make bracelets out of small nuggets. TG

Brilliant job Tom,will certainly keep the outlaws happy.Better not forget the mrs though as you will still need the brownies from her for next season.

Cheers

I got a local Jeweller to weld posts onto some sub gramers for ear studs, he charged me $50 a pair plus extra $60 for pair of butterflies, I had 2 pairs made. If only I knew you were in the jewellery business Tom I could of saved a few bucks haha. Good job Tom.

Thanks guys
Got enough stuff to do 10 sets cost about $200 bucks online
Went with 9k studs and 9k medium solder and some flux which I think is liquid borax
Bit of flux on both blob of solder bit of heat job done did have a few practice runs but...
Key is to not get to much heat into the posts
For heat I used a little butane torch like you can get from jay car
Into the alibright and a polish few beers and a bit of a production line does not take long
Luckily I specialise in fly shite size nuggets so have a few to choose from to make up pairs

Cheers tom
