Moliagul revisited

Hi All
Decided to have another go at Moliagul stopped at
Castlemaine on the way picked up 5 bits biggest being
1.6 gms

After arriving at Moliagul and having picked up a few
i decided to try a spot where i had previously found 7

Embarassed Embarassed Picked up another 24 in that area Embarassed Embarassed
but but i have a good excuse for missing them last time
It Was So Hot



And i thought Moliagul was cleaned up

Bumped into Phoenix Monday arvo had a great chat
got another 7 this morning m8 Cheers

Nice work mate. You must have some awsome hearing or great setting to pull them little buggers.. One day i will be good enough to get em like that.. I am sure i am missing heaps of littlies...

hey Paddy,
Great to see you are getting better and better.
Never been to Moliagul to detect except to visit the Monument with my son.
Hope to catch up around once i get 5000.
It would be fun then.

well done mate, Moliagul is a nice place as i use to play cricket for them in the younger days. their's still gold a lot off small stuff but there still would be a few big ones somewhere.

Thanks for the replys guys

Had another go at Maryborough and Moliagul
Shorter trip than usual but managed 56 bits for 3.8 gms

You are not wrong about the little ones stoppsy the
buggers are still around

Yes i have beeen told to put a bigger coil on and i do at times
At least i get to pick up gold on a regular basis using the smaller coil

last year my son and I went to Moliagul and not to far away from the monument found a 12 grammer, the only piece we found for 10 days of looking, but at least we can say that we did find a nice piece Very Happy
